These illustrations were for a company called Ten Thousand Villages, they are an amazing fair trade handy craft store. I had the privilege of working with them at Christmas a few times to illustrate their Christmas cards, which then get sent to a small screen printing shop in India called Silence, where they are paid and treated fairly.
For these illustrations they are quite a few years old, before Procreate. I created these in Illustrator with the pen tool. First I hand drew them then I scanned them in to trace.
